December is here...let the festivities begin!! Greg and I enjoyed some Christmas parties with friends and work colleagues. A nice change of pace to get dressed up and have uninterrupted conversations with adults all evening. :)
Gingerbread house...each kiddo got their own "half" to decorate. Quite messy, quite sugary, quite fun!
In the evening on December 10, we went to Ben's school for his Christmas concert. The show was called "Jingle All the Way", and the kids gave a wonderful performance about Santa losing his "jingle" and then finding his Christmas spirit again. It was great getting to hear all of the songs as Ben had been "hiding" them from us for weeks. (Although, don't tell Ben, but we can still hear him when he sings in the shower.) :)
A few days later, it was Nathalie's turn to show off some Christmas tunes at her preschool party. My favorite was "five little cookies sitting on a plate". These kids are too cute! There was snacks, crafts, cookie-decorating, and best of all...a visit from Santa himself! Ho, ho, ho!
