Ben had day camp the last week of July and first week of August. He was pretty nervous that first day, but came home that afternoon with a huge smile on his face! He enjoyed lots of games, songs, crafts, and water fights at the campsite. And, there was plenty of "offsite" fun too, like swimming, petting zoo, horseback riding, and sailing. On the last day, Ben and his new friends went to Heritage Park to enjoy rides and cotton candy, and it didn't even matter that it rained. :) Ben is sad that camp is over, but already excited about next year!
While Ben was busy at camp, Nathalie and I had some adventures of our own. Time at the park, trips to the library (especially on those 90 degree days since our house doesn't have air conditioning!), and bike riding at Edworthy on the bike path. Nathalie is feeling more and more comfortable on her big girl bike, and it helps to have a tasty "goal" at the end of the ride! Gotta love summer!
